Gobions Map 1 (of 20)

Map 1: The 1735 Bridgeman design for Gobions

In 2000, the former Gobions Woodland Trust commissioned a study to "help inform the development of a restoration and management plan for Gobions Wood". We have uploaded the text of the 118-page report to this site. The original report contained dozens of old maps and images dating back to 1718. At the bottom of this page is a list of links to many of those maps. Each has a 'pop out' button (top right - hover over the map to see it). Once the map has popped out you can zoom in to see the fine detail, which becomes clearer as the map downloads.

Click the link to be taken to each map referred to in the 118-page Gobions Heritage Report 2002. Then hover over the map and click the 'pop out' button in order to zoom in to see the fine detail, which becomes clearer as the map downloads.
