This is one of a dozen sections from North Mymms Pictures From The Past, a book published in 2002 by the former North Mymms Local History Society, featuring more than 100 old photographs of the parish. This was renovated and is now a private residence
Moffats Farm, which covered 300 acres, was farmed by Charles Honour and his three sons

Potterells Farmhouse, Station Road (rear view) in April 1974 - it changed very little over the years.
The cream coloured rose bush was Alice Crawford's pride and joy.
In some years, when it was in bloom, she would call in a local photographer to record it.

After being threshed in the combined harvester, the corn was brought in by tractor to be transported
by the Archimedes Screw into the silo for drying and storage
