The following slideshow is made up of 57 photographs from the Images of North Mymms collection recording the history of the area. This selection includes images of rail traffic through Marshmoor and Welham Green.

The photograph above shows the public footpath crossing the East Coast Mainline in 1963! Anyone, including children in push chairs, could cross the tracks having looked both ways to make sure a train wasn't approaching.
